It has been so long since I last pulled out my camera just for the fun of it, but when I saw my mom's cat having a lazy Sunday afternoon nap I just had to interrupt her in order to take a few pictures!
In the beginning she put up with me...
but it wasn't long before she was given me the evil eye to
indicate that her patience had run out!
There was so much energy in the room when I arrived. Five friends, five babies/young children, and only a short window of time to take photographs before feeding and nap time.
Although this was one of my toughest shoots, I am very happy
with the end result. I am thankful for the opportunity I had to
spend the morning with this great group of women and their adorable children.
Look into Nolan's eyes... you will see he is looking at his mom, who is looking right back at him! (click on the photo to make it larger)
This afternoon I got the privilege to meet Bethany's fiance, John, spend some time with them, and take some engagement photos. Bethany wanted to get some photos done before the fall colour had disappeared. The beautiful coloured leaves were the perfect backdrop for some great pictures. Congratulations, Bethany and John!
